Pam Duffy helps engineers strengthen their soft skills with engaging keynotes, workshops, and articles.
While most engineers excel in the technical portion of their job, long-term success is highly reliant on interpersonal and project management skills. Unfortunately, many engineers receive little - if any - training in this area.
Pam developed a love for professional development in college, through her active involvement in university groups. Having led countless teams - both as a volunteer and in her career - she's had lots of practice putting her professional skills to use - with many successes and plenty of failures.
Now, with thousands of hours of training, research, and personal experience under her belt, she shares her best tips and lessons learned to engineers across the globe.
Pam has over 10 years of experience in the HVAC industry in roles varying from mechanical design, to technical training, to marketing and sales. Combining her technical expertise with her professional skillset, she launched Spark One Solutions in 2019, a marketing and business solutions consulting company serving HVAC businesses.
Pam is a registered PE, an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer, and a member of the AHR Expo Industry Expert Council
She is a Life Member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and has been named to both the Consulting-Specifying Engineer’s list of 40 under 40 as well as the NEWS’ 40 under 40.
